Last week we had our first Chair Yoga Retreat Morning and it was ace! I received really positive feedback so I'll definitely be arranging another one of these next year - hopefully in the spring time....
Also, I thought I'd mention (completely unrelated to yoga...) that at the start of November I went to see Peaky Blinders - the dance show - at the Sunderland Empire Theatre and it was really fabulous. I highly recommend it if it comes to a stage near you and if you've seen the TV show (maybe not if you haven't!) The dancing was so cool and, well, it was just brilliant. There was a live band playing all the music so it almost felt like a gig too! I missed the big bonfire and fireworks in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea because of it but I don't mind as the show was so good. ***** (That's 5 stars!)
Anyway, there's only another couple of my events left in 2024! Where has this year gone? There's been Yoga Retreat Mornings and our first Chair Yoga Retreat Morning, multiple Yoga Basics courses, SUP Yoga sessions over the summer at Bolam Lake and our first Dynamic Yoga Session! So, what's to come before the year draws to a close? Well, on Sunday 1st December 10.00am - 12.30pm I'm hosting the last Yoga Retreat Morning of 2024 at Simonside Hall in Newbiggin. Then, on Sunday 15th December at the same venue at 6.00pm - 7.30pm I'm co-hosting a yin yoga and gong bath alongside Michael Fothergill - a gong master based in Blyth. It's our second collaboration - we did this 2 years ago and it was just lush!
There's only a handful of spaces left for these events so if you'd like to join me, please get booking! Info below...
Sunday 1st December 10.00am -12.30pm Simonside Hall, Newbiggin-by-the-Sea We begin with a hatha yoga session suitable for everyone (including beginners) to get ourselves moving, engage and tone muscles and lift our heart rate. Then we have a slow and calming yin yoga practice to stretch and ease muscular tension, followed by a deeply relaxing yoga nidra, a type of meditation. All of this is finished off with a nutritious hug in the form of a light vegetarian lunch courtesy of the Artisan Tea Room. All for £25 Please note, all bookings are non-refundable. |
Sunday 15th December 6.00pm -7.30pm Simonside Hall, Newbiggin-by-the-Sea I hope you'll join us for this special and unique session of its kind here in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea. We will begin with a gentle, slow paced, floor-based, stretchy (yin) yoga session to deeply relax our bodies. The session is low impact and suitable for beginners. We'll then make a comfy nest (bring blankets and cushions!) and settle down to experience an uplifting and stress reducing Gong Bath, an ancient type of sound therapy where we'll be bathed in sound waves (played by Gong Master, Michael Fothergill). Ticket Price £20 Please note, all bookings are non-refundable. |
